Louis de Longeaux, partner in the Paris office, is a member of the firm's European Finance Group. His practice focuses on financing, corporate financing, oil and gas, project finance and capital markets (including EMTN programs, bond issues and other private placements). He teaches project and structured finance in the vocational training program organized by the Association Française des Trésoriers d'Entreprise (AFTE). Prior to joining Orrick, Mr. de Longeaux was an associate with Watson, Farley & Williams. He spent two years with Elf Oil UK and Clyde & Co. in London. In Paris, he worked at Bouloy Grellet, Wilde Sapte, and Ernst & Young.

- Participation to the drafting of a Cahier Technique entitled "Issuing and Paying Agent Agreement relating to French commercial paper programmes," published by the Association Française des Trésoriers d'Entreprise (AFTE) in February 2007.
- Participation to the drafting of a Cahier Pratique entitled "A new Standard for Finance Agreements," Association Française des Trésoriers d'Entreprise (AFTE) in March 2006.
- Co-authored an Orrick publication entitled "Les apports de la Directive Prospectus pour les émissions Stand Alone et sous programme au Luxembourg," June 2005 and another on public offers of securities in France further to the amendment of the general regulation of the Autorité des marchés financiers in December 2005.
- Co-authored an article for the French section of the 2005 Euromoney Corporate Governance Review on rules and practices applying to the disclosure of information by issuers to financial analysts and rating agencies.
- Participation to the drafting of the "Guide for the negotiation of credit facility agreements and other finance agreements," Association Française des Trésoriers d'Entreprise (AFTE) in June 2004.
