    For the fourth consecutive year, Orrick has been named to The American Lawyer's annual A-List, a recognition of the 20 most successful law firms.

  • Financial Times

    Orrick ranked among the top five "U.S. Law Firms in Europe for Innovation in Expansion" at the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Awards.

  • Legal Business Global London

    Orrick is ranked 28th in the 2008 Legal Business Global London, which measures the 50 largest non-U.K. origin firms by London office revenue figures. Additionally, Orrick is ranked fourth among firms with the largest trainee intake relative to their size in London.

    Orrick has been named the recipient of the 2008 Redwood Vanguard Award given by Redwood Analytics.     The American Lawyer's annual associate satisfaction survey ranks Orrick No. 22 among AmLaw 100 firms in 2009, an increase of 11 places. Orrick also ranked No. 50 among all law firms, an increase of 15 places.

  • Fortune

    For the second consecutive year, Orrick has been selected for Fortune's list of the "100 Best Companies to Work For" in 2010.

  • Help Desk Institute

    Orrick's Service Desk at the Global Operations Center was recently recognized by the Help Desk Institute (HDI) as one of the top teams for internal support. Having made it to the second round of the HDI 2007-2008 Team Excellence Award, Orrick is ranked among the top 14 internal technical support teams, including those from Pepsico and Verizon Wireless. HDI is the world's largest membership association for help desk, technical support and IT service management professionals and is the industry's premier certification and training body.

  • IT Service Management Forum

    Orrick has been shortlisted for a "Project of the Year" award from the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF). Orrick is one of the eight Project of the Year finalists. Service-now.com nominated Orrick for the firm's successful roll out of two IT service management applications: Service-now and RightAnswers.

  • Daily Journal

    Chairman Ralph Baxter, Silicon Valley intellectual property partner Neel Chatterjee, San Francisco litigation partner Melinda Haag and Sacramento restructuring partner Marc Levinson were named to the Daily Journal's 2009 Top 100 Lawyers in California list, which recognizes top California lawyers whose achievements have had a considerable impact on the law.

  • The Lawyer

    Orrick Chairman and CEO Ralph Baxter is named among The Lawyer's 10 most influential "movers and shapers" who are expected "to lead firms' thinking and shape the future of the transatlantic elite" through the next decade.

  • South Asian Bar Association

    Neel Chatterjee, Orrick's Silicon Valley co-office leader, was presented with the 2007 Mentorship Achievement Award at a dinner celebrating the South Asian Bar Association's (SABA) 15th anniversary.

    SABA reported that since 1994, Mr. Chatterjee has mentored a number of law students and new lawyers. The organization acknowledged that he was instrumental in organizing SABA's first career panels, in which lawyers from the government, large firms, solo practices, public interest groups and nonlegal professions spoke about their career paths. These panels ran for several years at Orrick's San Francisco office.

    San Francisco office leader Karen Johnson-McKewan was recognized as one of the Bay Area's most influential women in business by the San Francisco Business Times. The listing highlights outstanding women executives who are making a difference in the organizations they lead, in their industries and in their communities.
