Human Rights Campaign

Orrick received a 100 percent rating in the 2008 Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index, a report card on gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality in corporate America. This is the second year in a row Orrick has received a perfect rating.

In 2008, Orrick continued its rapid climb up The American Lawyer's A-List, jumping three places to seventh from its 10th place debut on the list in 2007. In The American Lawyer's own words, the A-List recognizes "the firms that best embody what it means to be a success in the legal community." It is, by definition, difficult to make the cut: the A-List is composed of only 20 firms, or 10 percent of the Am Law 200.
