I think the number one piece of advice we’d give to startups is to ask questions. Ask questions of everyone you meet. Specialists, generalists, competitors, anybody you can – you've got to ask questions. It’s the only way you're going to get better.
And then when you think you're an expert yourself – keep asking questions, because people will surprise you. The world's full of information.
And then after you ask all the questions, ask for help. Silicon Valley was built on a culture of helping, helping startups and their founders get to the next level and overcome challenges.
So ask questions and then ask for help.
