He has significant experience identifying and resolving issues that arise in cross-border technology transactions involving Europe, the U.S., Asia, having worked in London, Singapore and Shanghai.

Faraaz regularly advises clients on technology service agreements, website terms and conditions, data privacy, renegotiations, intellectual property licensing and strategic alliances.

He has represented companies in a wide range of industries including software development, satellite and space, mining and resources, mobile, healthcare, digital marketing, automotive, ride-hailing and logistics.

Faraaz also assists clients with artificial intelligence (AI) risk assessments, evaluates AI risks in corporate transactions, and drafts and negotiates data-related contracts. He helps clients develop flexible governance frameworks for use of AI and advises on strategies, policies, and procedures for sourcing AI training data, ensuring responsible AI use by employees, negotiating AI-related contracts, and managing AI-related regulatory inquiries and investigations.
