Doug Goe and Christine Reynolds Honored at the Oregon Municipal Finance Officers Association Conference

Orrick public finance partner Doug Goe was recently honored at the Oregon Municipal Finance Officers Association (OMFOA) Conference with an Honorary Life Member Award.

Goe was recognized for his years of service and dedication to the Oregon public finance community, including his service as an Associate Member of OMFOA and as an OMFOA Board Member. In presenting the award, the group noted: ​“Clients and friends describe [Doug] as gracious, genuine, dedicated, tireless and thoughtful…Over a long career, he has worked with almost every conceivable type of Oregon municipality on financing projects large and small. Some projects came together quickly and others required years of time, attenti​on and dedication.”

Goe serves as vice chair of the firm’s Public Finance team in the Pacific Northwest and as the partner-in-charge of Orrick’s Portland office. His practice focuses on public finance, including federal, state and tribal tax and securities law issues.

In addition to Goe, Orrick managing associate Christine Reynolds was honored at the OMFOA Conference for her service as an Associate Director on the Association’s board of directors. Also resident in the firm’s Portland office, Reynolds has significant experience serving as bond counsel, disclosure counsel and underwriter’s counsel on financings, including general obligation bonds and revenue bonds for transportation, water, sewer, power and tax increment projects.
