Orrick Mourns the Loss of Susan Barry

The Orrick community mourns the loss of our colleague and dear friend Susan Barry, of counsel in our Seattle Public Finance team, who passed away on Wednesday following a bout of pneumonia.

Susan joined Orrick in New York in 1990 and moved to Seattle in 1999 to help found our office. She became a leader in the Pacific Northwest Public Finance Bar. A winner of the firm’s 2012 Mentoring Award, she was a great and tireless mentor. We remember her as an excellent lawyer and a caring and thoughtful person with a huge, compassionate heart.

Susan will be deeply missed by everyone in the Orrick family who had the privilege to know her and work with her.
