Orrick Adds M&A and Private Equity Rising Star in Germany

• Damien Simonot joins the firm as a partner focused on advising companies on private equity and venture capital transactions, and public and private mergers & acquisitions.
• He joins an Orrick team that ranks top 15 for M&A globally by MergerMarket.
• Damien joins Orrick’s Munich office from Skadden.

Damien counsels investors, as well as emerging and high-growth companies on cross-border transactions in the technology sector.

Orrick’s global M&A team, based in 21 markets, advised on 300 M&A and private equity deals in 2021.

Damien follows the arrival of Benedikt Migdal who joined the firm’s Technology Transactions practice in Düsseldorf from Hengeler Mueller last year.
