Offshore Wind California Pacific Offshore Wind 2023 Summit

The summit will delve into the California Energy Commission’s Strategic Plan for the development of offshore wind in California, which the landmark AB 525 law directed must be implemented by June 30, and California’s potential to emerge as a prominent player in the floating offshore wind industry. It will explore the ways in which California can transform into a floating offshore wind hub, generating job opportunities that have the potential to drive sustained economic growth.

Attendees will gain market insights pertaining to siting, permitting, ports, procurement, transmission and environmental concerns for offshore wind, floating wind technology advances, federal and state offshore wind policies and the trajectory of the market. The summit brings together more than 600 state and federal officials, industry leaders and other stakeholders for two days of keynote presentations, panel discussions and networking opportunities.
