China's Fair Competition Review System, 1 Year Later

Shelley Zhang, an Intellectual Property partner in Orrick’s Beijing office, and Lingren Meng, a summer intern in our Beijing office, co-authored an article for Law360 looking at where China’s fair competition review system stands one year after China’s State Council issued its "Opinions of the State Council on Establishing a Fair Competition Review System During the Development of Market-Oriented Review System.” While China’s resolution to create a more market-oriented economy encouraging fair competition has started to materialize, there is still a long way to go before full and effective implementation is achieved.
