Johannes: We at Orrick are super proud to be on the ground in Munich, as we think that Munich is a wonderful place to do venture capital in Germany.
Firstly, Munich has a very strong and diverse economy.
Secondly, Munich is known for its prestigious universities. This great set up is a guarantee for constant outflow of talent and, of course, cutting edge research.
Thirdly, we see that big U.S. tech corporations such as Google, Apple or Microsoft choose Munich over other cities in Germany.
And of course, the innovation that takes place in this region is one of a kind in Germany, and we at Orrick are super proud to be part of this family.
