Hollywood Reporter Names Orrick's Karen Johnson-McKewan to Power Lawyers List

Congratulations to Orrick’s Karen Johnson-McKewan on being named to The Hollywood Reporter’s 2018 Power Lawyers List. Spotlighting the 100 most influential lawyers in the entertainment industry, THR noted Karen’s work for tech company trailblazers, such as Netflix, in a high-stakes case brought by Fox over the hiring of two former employees. On our client’s position that Fox’s employment contracts are unenforceable, Karen said, "There’s definitely a sense that we are, in some ways, outsiders coming in and confronting practices that haven't been challenged in a long time."
