Orrick Paris Team Advises Insurtech Startup Alan on Series B

Orrick has advised Alan, Europe’s first digital health insurance company, on its €40 million Series B financing round. Led by Index Ventures and partners of DST Global, the fundraising follows a €23 million Series A round in April 2018. Since its founding in 2016, Alan has raised more than €75 million.

Alan aims to build a new kind of healthcare company that helps its users at every step of their healthcare journey through superior technology and design. In 2018, Alan increased its insured base by 400% and now covers 2,000 companies. This fundraising will help the company create new services, enhance its user base and grow its team.
