Human Rights Campaign Foundation
March.28.2019
Orrick earned a perfect score in the 2019 edition of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s annual Corporate Equality Index and Best Places to Work survey. This is the 13th year in a row that Orrick has scored 100% on the survey.
The Index is the national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer employees. To achieve a perfect score, businesses must have fully-inclusive equal employment opportunity policies, provide inclusive benefits, and support an inclusive culture and corporate social responsibility.
For our commitment to diversity and inclusion, Orrick has been named a top five best firm for Diversity by Vault and is on Fortune’s 2018 list of 100 Best Workplaces for Women. Last year, Orrick also joined letters spearheaded by the Human Rights Campaign and Out Leadership, and the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund, affirming our support for transgender, gender non-conforming and intersex people in light of administrative and legislative attempts in the U.S. to limit legal protections.
