We advised Schroder AIDA, an Alternative Investment Fund Manager, on the acquisition of a significant stake in Autobahnplus A8 GmbH, the concession holder of a section of the A8 motorway between Munich and Augsburg, from InfraVia Capital Partners and Egis Investment.
One of the busiest motorways in Germany, the A8 motorway joins the major cities of Munich, Augsburg, Ulm and Stuttgart and became a private concession in 2007.
The closing of the transaction is subject to the approval of the German Antitrust Authority and of the Highway Authority of Bavaria.
