Orrick announced today that Yael Li-Ran Perl has joined the firm as a partner in our Technology Companies Group, based in Silicon Valley. She is the 12th tech-focused partner to join the firm this year. Yael joins the firm from Fenwick & West.

Dual-qualified in California and Israel, Yael advises founders, investors and boards of emerging, high-growth and publicly held tech and life sciences companies on complex transactional matters, including venture capital financings, debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. She has extensive experience with tech companies at all stages and has recently advised on Proterra’s $1.6 billion SPAC merger with ArcLight Clean Transition, VELO3D’s $1.6 billion SPAC merger with JAWS Spitfire, TripActions’ $155 million Series E financing and SendBird’s $100 million Series C financing.
Yael’s broad-based domestic and international experience also includes advising Israeli venture capital funds, high-tech firms and startups while practicing at some of the top-rated firms in Tel Aviv.
