Congratulations to Orrick energy & infrastructure partner Rohit Sachdev on being selected as a member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) Fellows Program.
One of LCLD’s most important initiatives, the LCLD Fellows Program is a landmark initiative to identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. Other Orrick lawyers who have participated as LCLD Fellows since the program’s inception are Management Committee member Giji John, as well as partners Jennifer Lee, Will Stute, Caroline Simons and Daniel Lopez. Orrick chair Mitch Zuklie currently serves as a member of LCLD’s Board.
Rohit represents over 20 of the world’s leading developers of renewable and conventional energy generation projects on project development, M&A and financing arrangements. He has extensive experience in the solar, wind, energy storage, gas and biofuel sectors, with a particular focus on California and other U.S. jurisdictions. Rohit was named a Rising Star in Project Finance by Law360 in 2019.
In addition, managing associates Joshua Bonney and Catherine Malone have been chosen to participate in the 2023 Pathfinders Program. This program trains high-performing up-and-coming lawyers in critical career development strategies, including leadership skills and the building of professional networks.
Joshua’s practice focuses on the structuring, negotiation and documentation of tax-exempt, tax-advantaged and taxable debt transactions. He regularly serves as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, disclosure counsel, issuer’s counsel, borrower’s counsel and bank counsel in connection with the issuance of publicly-offered and directly-placed investment-grade and high-yield debt instruments.
Catherine represents individuals and companies across a broad range of industries in criminal, civil and regulatory matters in federal and state court, and in investigations brought by the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. She also maintains a robust pro bono practice.
