  • Partner Erin Connell, a member of Orrick’s employment practice, has been recognized among the Daily Journals annual Top Women Lawyers in California.
  • The publication recognized Erin for her success representing major companies in high-profile workplace litigation, including Oracle, Goldman Sachs, Workday and others. Erin was previously recognized as a Law360 MVP for her successful defense of Oracle in one of the most closely watched pay equity cases in the tech sector.
  • In this feature, Erin discusses the unique challenges in these cases and emerging trends in employment law, notably in the impact of AI on employers. “The rapid pace at which AI is transforming the way in which employers make employment decisions, combined with the proliferation of new laws seeking to regulate employers’ use of AI, are sure to have lasting effects both from a compliance and litigation standpoint,” Erin told the publication.
  • The Daily Journal last year named partners Alyssa Caridis and Lynne Hermle to its Top Women Lawyers list.
