Montana Ware is based in Austin, Texas and is a senior associate in Orrick's Technology Companies Group.

Montana primarily represents emerging growth companies, venture capital funds and other strategic investors in a wide array of corporate matters, including early and late-stage venture funding rounds, formation and corporate governance, securities issuances and mergers and acquisitions.

  • Montana represents companies throughout the country as well as international companies headquartered outside of the U.S. Before joining Orrick, Montana was an associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP. In law school, Montana participated in the Texas Venture Labs program at the University of Texas, where he assisted numerous startups.

    Prior to practicing law, Montana served in the U.S. Air Force.
