We will be hosting the 2024 Fall: Washington State Aerospace Mission to Japan, co-organized by Orrick Tokyo Law offices, the Washington State Department of Commerce, and JETRO San Francisco.

This event will feature pitches and networking opportunities, with speakers from the Washington State Department of Commerce, the Washington Small Business Development Center (SBDC), as well as CEOs from cutting-edge aerospace companies based in the Seattle area.

Hiroki Sugita, partner in Orrick's Tokyo office, will discuss about how to collaborate with U.S. companies from a legal perspective, and pioneers in the industry will also be joining the session as keynote speakers, including Sojitz Corporation, Abeam Consulting Ltd., and Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT), which have all been highly involved in the development of businesses between the Washington State and Japan.
