Crypto company Layer3 has successfully closed a $15 million Series A funding round co-led by ParaFi and Greenfield One. Orrick represented Layer3 in the transaction.
Layer3 also announced that it raised $3.7 million in a previously unannounced round in 2022 and $2.5 million in 2021, bringing the total funds raised to $21.2 million.
Layer3 is the catalyst for a new era of user-owned value. In crypto, attention is scarcest resource of the on-chain economy, and Layer3 aims to decentralize this new attention economy by making it easier to reach users. The company’s vision unlocks the same market that created trillion-dollar internet behemoths – but on a network where the value generated from attention and engagement accrues directly to the users.
