Orrick’s Global Japan Practice is hosting a series of monthly “Orrick Library” seminars to explore legal issues in various fields in Japan as well as the United States, Asia and Europe. The next seminar will be held on Monday, November 13 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the Tokyo office and from 10:00 am to 11:30 am in the Düsseldorf office.
This session will discuss information exchange - the EU prohibition of cartels-, the extraterritorial reach of EU competition law which also applies to conduct outside the EU, and other related issues illustrated with examples that can be applied to Japanese companies. The session will be presented by Till Steinvorth, partner in the Antitrust and Competition group in the Düsseldorf office.
This seminar will be presented live in the Düsseldorf office and by video in the Tokyo office. There will be time set aside for questions and answers.
