Lauren Frank advises clients on matters relating to licensing, disclosures and compliance with consumer and commercial finance products. She represents financial services industry clients, including consumer and commercial lenders and lessors, providers of small business financing products such as factoring and merchant cash advance, debt collectors, student lenders, auto finance companies and providers of installment sales financing.
Prior to joining Orrick, Lauren was an associate at Buckley LLP. Previously, she was a law clerk at a Beverly Hills boutique firm.

Her recent work includes:
- Advising commercial financing clients on implementation of new commercial financing disclosure requirements enacted in California, New York, Utah, and Virginia
- Reviewing and revising consumer loans, student loans, installment sales contracts, and rental purchase agreements for compliance with state law
- Responding to state and federal regulatory complaints, exams, and investigations and helping negotiate resolutions and settlements with such state and federal regulatory entities
- Conducting regulatory due diligence in connection with the acquisition of a 50-state debt collection agency
