We advised sustainable infrastructure company Uncharted Power, Inc. (Uncharted) in its partnership with the City of Poughkeepsie to deploy the Uncharted Platform in the Poughkeepsie Innovation District. Turning sidewalks into data centers, the Uncharted Platform transforms a community’s most underutilized asset -- the ground itself -- into an accessible paver system hosting power, compute, and communications at the true edge. The Uncharted Platform provides an alternative standard for infrastructure development, enabling the efficient and cost-effective deployment and management of traditionally siloed city services. With support from investors like BBG Ventures, Kapor Capital, Backstage Capital, CoPeace, Magic Johnson Enterprises, and others, Uncharted Power is making access to sustainable infrastructure a reality for everyone. The Poughkeepsie project was funded through a $1.8 million multi-year grant provided by the Siegel Family Endowment and the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley.
