The European investment firm Afinum has announced the formation of MedTech Laser Group through its investment in German company A.R.C. Laser and Israeli company G.N.S. neoLaser.

Afinum, an independent investment company managed by its owners, with offices in Munich and Zurich, specializes in investments in successful medium-sized companies in the German-speaking regions of Europe.
A.R.C. Laser, headquartered in Nuremberg, is a family-owned company that develops laser systems for gentle and effective applications in modern medicine. The company's products are utilized by medical professionals across the globe.
G.N.S. neoLaser, based in Israel, is a world leader in the development, design, and manufacturing of medical and surgical laser systems.
Through this transaction, Afinum will acquire a significant majority stake, while the founders of A.R.C. Laser and G.N.S. neoLaser will reinvest in the newly established company.
Christoph Brenner and Stefan Renner led the Orrick team advising Afinum. The team also included Benedikt Migdal, Lars Mesenbrink, Stefan Riedl, Carl Oldenbourg and Henry Wu.
