Chambers USA has named Orrick its Privacy & Data Security Law Firm of the Year. The award was announced June 17 as part of the Chambers USA Awards 2019 in Washington, D.C., recognizing top firms and individuals based on research from more than 200 Chambers analysts.
Orrick’s team is ranked Band 1 nationally for Privacy & Data Security in the 2019 edition of Chambers USA. Earlier this year, Orrick’s Cyber, Privacy & Data Innovation Practice launched the online CCPA Readiness Assessment Tool to help businesses globally determine whether they are covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act and test their compliance with the new law, which goes into effect January 1, 2020.
