I advise companies on the responsible development and use of data and technology. I am a Privacy Law Specialist and focus much of my practice on the development and use of advanced technologies, including advertising technology (adtech), automated and connected vehicles, biometric tools, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI). I also represent clients subject to regulatory inquiry and government investigation relating to their data and technology practices.

Clients I've worked with: Microsoft | NVIDIA | Recidiviz | Zillow

  • What inspires you about working with tech companies?

Our tech clients are changing the world for the better, but they are often faced with complex and interconnected laws and regulations that can impede progress. By helping clients unlock their data and adapt business operations to adjust for risk, I get to empower our clients to operate in an ever-evolving legal landscape without sacrificing their true mission.

  • Where do you find inspiration in life?

Nature. When I need inspiration, I like to get outside, slow things down, and just observe the beauty and complexity of the natural world.

  • Tell us about a favorite book, work of art or piece of music?

My favorite music in this season of life is by a band called “Bad Flower.” They perfectly blend incredible instrumentals with deep and hard-hitting lyrics that are unlike anything I have heard in a long time.

  • If you could choose one superpower, what would it be?

Psychic abilities. Having the power to move things with my mind would be so cool.
