  • What inspires you about working with tech companies?

What truly inspires me about working with tech companies is their relentless drive for innovation. They're at the forefront of transforming industries and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Being a part of that journey and helping them navigate the legal landscape to achieve their groundbreaking goals is incredibly motivating.

  • What inspired you to become an emerging companies and venture capital lawyer?

The inspiration behind my choice to specialise in emerging companies and venture capital law was the opportunity to work with individuals and organisations on the cutting edge of innovation. I've always been captivated by the energy and enthusiasm of entrepreneurs and the pivotal role venture capital plays in fuelling their dreams. Being a part of this ecosystem and helping startups thrive is a constant source of motivation for me.

  • If you weren't a tech lawyer, what would you do?

Originally a "techie", I'd probably be a founder looking to break stuff and put it back together (better)!

  • Tell us something we'd be surprised to know about you.

I'm an open book, so unlikely to be many surprises. However, I do some of my best drafting - big headphones on, heavy metal loud(!) and when I'm not drafting investment documents, I'm either powerlifting or riding with my Harley group (not quite a gang).

  • What technology are you most excited to see develop?

AI - the practical applications are immense ... and its incredibly useful at writing bios!

  • What is your ideal weekend?

Miles upon miles on the back of a Harley in California.

  • What's the best advice you've ever received?

"If it were easy, everyone would do it."

  • What's your mantra?

"I'm going to do today what other people aren't willing to, so I can do tomorrow what other people cant."
